about
I was born and raised in Arlington, Virginia, next to D.C. I come from a Salvadoran immigrant family that told me to ponte las pilas (lock in) so I did and now I'm a software engineer. Eventually I realized I didn't fit in with the type A culture of D.C. so I moved to Chicago where I truly feel at home.
In my free time I work out, volunteer, and tinker with tech. My vibe is Murakami, Wong Kar-Wai, Sade. I like to sip Sazeracs, but when I eat out it's almost always casual takeout spots. Previously focused on solving math problems, now I'm interested in solving people problems.
